I am Mrs Alice Littlehailes the Headteacher of St Luke’s. On behalf of all the St Luke’s family I would like to welcome you to our website, I hope it gives you all the information you need to gain an insight into our school.

Our school is a friendly, inclusive school where the children learn academic and social skills. Children learn best when they are supported, challenged and interested. Our belief in educating the whole child encourages our pupils to go on to be successful lifelong learners. The creative thematic curriculum and staff’s high expectations ensure there is a buzz of excitement about learning.

The school was built in 1985 and caters for children from 4-11 in 6 classes. The extensive grounds and the layout of the school, around 2 courtyards, enable the children to learn in both indoor and outdoor environments.

The school is part of the local community and the hall is used by both a weekly toddler group and community groups in the evening. The children are encouraged to support both local and international initiatives. The school has a very active Parent Teacher group which organises social and fund-raising events. We have strong links with St Luke’s Church.

The best way to find out more about our school is by visiting us so please phone and make an appointment to come in. We’d love to see you!
