Improving access to the curriculum

Short Term Target (& Responsibility):

  • Ensure differentiation in planning (short term) (Class T / CB)
  • Update IEP’s and hold review meetings with parents (Class T / CB)
  • Produce a provision map (Class T / CB)

  • Ensure we have adequate resources in line with IEP’s (CB / AL)
  • Training for TA’s and T’s (CB / AL)/li>

Improving the physical environment

Short Term Target (& Responsibility):

  • Rainbow Room set up as Nurture Group time-out Area and kept calm and tidy. (Everyone)

Long Term Target (& Responsibility):

  • Any Refurb programme in the whole school undertaken with advice from outside SEN agencies (AL / Gov / Agencies Support)

Improving the delivery of written information

Short Term Target (& Responsibility):

  • Website updated with news letters (SMT / IB)
  • Class pages updated (Class T)
  • Termly curriculum information (Class T)
  • All correspondence in clear font/size/language (Admin / SMT)
  • No use of educational “Jargon” in letters to parents without an explanation (Class T)
  • All written materials and resources, including ICT are checked for clarity, layout, size, language. (Class T)
