How you can help your child:

  • Reinforce the practical aspects of our Maths sessions by talking to your child about how we tell the time and looking at money when shopping.
  • Support your child with learning spellings.
  • Listen to your child read regularly and talk about what (s)he has read, discussing unfamiliar vocabulary, characters and story plot.
  • Ensure that reading books and reading records are in school every day.
  • Ensure that your child completes any homework tasks appropriately and hands them in on time.
  • Ensure that he/she has the relevant PE/games kits in school. Kit should be in school at all times.
  • This term we will mainly be working indoors.
