Dear Parents,

Here we are on the last day of the half term, tomorrow is an INSET day and the children are back in school on 2nd November. It will be so nice to have the Y6s back with us we have missed them. The children have been fantastic this half term we are proud of them all in fact so proud for the first time ever I have awarded all of them a super student badge because that is what they have been, super students. I feel I should be giving you all a badge too as your support for school this half term has been great. We have all really appreciated it, the feeling that we are all working together for our community has been a source of great joy.

Tomorrow we are going to attempt parent’s meetings via zoom, you should have received your link. If you are on a computer, you just click the link and follow the instructions to open the link. If you are using a tablet or phone you will need to download the Zoom for Intune (meet happy) app. If the app is open, you may be able to just click on the link to open the meeting. If not, you can enter the meeting using the meeting id and password. It sounds a bit complicated but trust me even I can do it! You should enter into a waiting room and you will be brought into the meeting when the teacher is ready for you. If it does not work we will give you a quick ring so you may get a call from a number you don’t recognise.

We are having another bag 2 school day on Wednesday 18th November. I know this is a bit away but we are sending home the bag 2 school bags today just in case you get inspired to have a clear out over half term. A bag 2 school day is a fundraiser for school when we ask you to bring in any old clothes, shoes or other textiles. We give you a bag but they can be brought in any bag not just the official one. Please do not bring the bags in until the 18th November as we do not have anywhere to store them.

If you owe any dinner money please can you pay it so we can reconcile the half term accounts – thank you.

We are also sending out the new menus which start after half term.

Over half term Ruben’s Retreat are holding a fundraising ‘Creepy Crawl’:
