Dear Parents & Carers,
Thank you to everyone who sent in textiles for Bags 2 School. We raised over £100 for school.
Thank you to everyone who helped organise the summer fair, anyone who helped on a stall and anyone who came and supported it. There was a lovely atmosphere and it was great to see everyone.
On Friday Y1 will be leading our collective worship. I will send out the code word for their assembly in the morning. Kestrels will be leading it on Friday 7th July.
Congratulations to Mr Hoyle who has been elected unopposed as the new parent governor from September.
The next PTA event is on Saturday 8th July when they have planned a treasure trail. I am very excited about it; I love a treasure trail. It will start at school and the trail will lead you around Glossop hunting for clues. It will end back at school where you are welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy some social time together.
On Tuesday 18th July at 7pm we are holding our annual summer concert where the children in the choir and those who learn instruments entertain us. It is always a lovely event so if you have someone musical in your family keep this date in your diary.
The plans for the classes for next year are (as always the best laid plans can change):
Reception Mrs Hillier & Mrs Fletcher
Y1 Miss Ellwood & Mrs Woolleson
Y2 Mrs Eltringham & Mrs Maniak
Y3 Mrs Clayton / Mrs Shepherd & Miss Grandidge

Y5 Mr Holt Miss Ashworth, Mrs Day,

There is a meeting for parents of next year’s Reception class on Thursday 6th July at 6pm. Everyone is looking forward to meeting you.
Stay happy and healthy
