Dear Parents,

Thank you to everyone who sent in a shoe box we have been overwhelmed by your generosity.  I know they will make a big difference to the recipients.

Well done to everyone who took part in the cross country run.  It sounds as if a good time has been had by all.

This Friday, 11th Nov, Y6 will be leading our collective act of worship (assembly).  Their parents are welcome to attend.  It will start at about 9.10.  I will text the code word to you that morning.

Year 1 will be leading our collective worship on Friday 18th Nov again I will text out the code word so their parents can attend.

Remember it is the singing day on Sunday at Glossopdale school 11.30-4 for the children in Y5&6.  The choir sessions start on Tuesday 15th 5-6.30.  I know lots of our children were keen to join in.

On Wednesday 16th November (next Wednesday) the children will be having their flu immunisations in school if you have registered them for it.  If you haven’t registered your child they will not be able to receive it.

The PTA have a cunning plan to improve their notice board and would like you to save and send in any corks you may have over the next few months.  We promise not to judge the quantity.

This year the PTA are producing a special commemorative tea towel. Your children have been busy this week sketching themselves so they can get it into production in time for Christmas delivery. The tea towels are priced at £3.50 each and order forms are being sent home this week. A copy is also attached should you want to print and return yourself. There is no limit on the number you order however the deadline for orders is 25 November.

Stay happy and healthy
